And it might change yours too!

A few days ago, I took a step to revise my algorithm knowledge and promised myself to complete a whole book for this. But eventually I couldn't.
Then I took some serious steps.
I uninstalled all the social media app from my mobile except messenger and WhatsApp as I use these two for regular communication.
Uninstalled YouTube, as I observed if I went to YouTube to watch an informative video, I end up watching some more unnecessary videos for at least half an hour or more 🙁
Even after that, I was getting slow finishing the book. It’s not like I don’t have enough time. After 8-10 hours office and 8 hours of sleep, we still have 6-8 hours to do anything we want.
Then I started observing where my times are getting wasted. I found out that, if I take my mobile for anything urgent such as making a call or sending a text, I also end up chatting with my friends and watching other’s stories.
Now I can’t uninstall messenger app as it’s one of my primary communication channel. So I thought, why not I stop grabbing my phone too often?!!
So I changed my wallpaper saying -
"Read a Page or Solve a Problem instead of Grabbing This Phone"
And I don’t know how, this actually worked!
Whenever I grabbed my phone for no reason and saw the wallpaper, I put it down, grabbed my iPad and opened the book.
Finally the book is completed today and I feel tremendous joy after this very tiny achievement.
Going to start a new book!
